Naruto Shippuuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 review

This week I'll be reviewing Naruto Shippuuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Ninja Storm 2 is a fighting game based off the manga "Naruto" by Masashi Kishimoto. The story takes place when Naruto and Jiraiya return to the Hidden Leaf village after the three years of training, and ends with Pain's evasion of Konoha.
The controls are the same as in the first game. I really wished that they would have fixed with because the fighting and interacting with the world in storymode can get confusing due to the button layout. It if not horriable but it does take some time to get used to them.
The adventure mode during story was mostly the same except for the villages. They were not three demisional like in the first. I didn’t like this because I really enjoyed running around the village in the first game. The villages in Ninja storm are just one path with only a few side roads branching off to get to a shop, which really limits the explorability a lot.
Some imporvement that I did enjoy where the amount of characters there are, online play, and flash back they put in storymode. There are a total of 42 playable characters in Ninja Storm 2 which gives a wide varity of fighting styles. The online mode if very fun since now I can play against my friends unlike the first game which only had a offline verses mode. The flash backs they use in story mode are very intersting since they use parts of the anime to show them.
Some things I didn’t like about it were the difference between it and the anime. The game left out things that happened in that anime and I think of the reason some were left out is so they could keep a teen raiting on it, but leaving of fights like Kankurō vs. Sasori and Pain vs. Konohamaru.
Over all it is a very good fighting games and an extremely great Naruto game. I’d give it a 9 out of 10.

Suikoden Review

This week I will be reviewing an old PS1 RPG called Suikoden which was released in 1996. You might be wondering why I'm reviewing such an old game well a few months ago it was released on the PSstore for six dollars. You begin the game as the son of the great general of the Scarlet Moon Empire Teo Mcdohl.Your father is called away to fight up in the north and you enlist into the Imperial army. After going on a few missions you soon realize that the king and his empire are corrupt. Your close friend Ted is in possession of one of the twenty seven true runes called Soul Eater. You are given possession of the rune after the Imperial army comes looking for it. You join up with the Liberation Army which you become the leader of later on. You have to raise an army to combat the Imperial army to defeat the King and his five generals. This is a RPG like I've never seen before and I've seen a lot trust me. The amount of playable characters in the game is just insane there are 108 people you can recruit into your army. The party you play as is made up of six characters which I haven't seen a party that big either. Most RPGs make you buy new or find weapons while playing the game but there is only one weapon you can find and it's plot specific, your characters are stuck with one weapon throughout the whole game and you have to upgrade it. The game has a really interesting siege mode which you use to take over outposts. It acts on a rock, paper, scissors type to win the fights. You have charge beating arrows, arrows beating magic, and magic beating charge. The characters you find to join your army help you out in the sieges like boosting charge and learning the enemies next move. Over all I really enjoyed this game and would highly recommend it.
